Life runs in arcs - a discipline taken the whole way: chosen, mastered, taught, then the next one. Keep it playful - that is what all of this is for.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu1

At the South American Championship I entered the open-weight category, which almost no one dared to enter because of a +200kg competitor. I weighed 69kg. But when you lose only to the number one, you still come second - I stood on the podium with a medal. Sometimes the best hack is taking the challenge others avoid.

Artwear

Carnival artistry I stumbled on and stayed for - ten years of it. It started with wearing my samba school’s costume of the year, to play. Then I found myself inventing my own: an idea I wanted to convey, in the form of wearing it. The full record, by theme, is at Artwear.

The letters in to my younger brother carry what these arcs cost.
